A few flowers in the yard. K1-II with D FA 28-105. I wanted to catch the comet at sunset but guess where the clouds were? Going to try again this evening.

Dull weather since a few days, lots of work to do, no time to enjoy some interesting shooting ...
But at least I can always grab the K1, get out for a few minutes to see what's going on in the garden.

Went out to try to photograph comet NEOWISE. Well the clouds put in an appearance so no comet but a few of the sun setting over the Genesee River Valley in western, New York.

Gorgeous, isn't it? The DA*55 is a beautiful portrait lens. Yes, it's wide open so the shutter speed was 1/5000s.

Decided to re-process some of my old photos. Thought I could do a better job swapping out HDR software with luminosity masks workflow.
I think it looks more natural and not over-saturated.
