Couple from my walkabout today. Hiking with camera bag full of gear and 70-200 was only lens I used...it was quite moist day, so did not want to change lenses.

DFA*70-200











was nice to get out there.

Went and picked some grapes today. There was not a cloud in the sky, but the light has a very soft quality to it. Shadows very soft even when kicking up the contrast a bit. The reason for this is there is a lot of smoke in the air as a result of all the wildfires some 2,000 miles (3,200 km) and more to the west of us.

Yes there are some places where they run wild. I don't know about the temper, never met one in the wild.
