Had planned to capture some meteors last night, but lens fogged.. so took this instead close to morning:
That sky is amazing!

A quiet morning with a bit of mist in the Tillamook area of Oregon... DA*55mm is such a useful lens.

A Tillamook beach

...and a processed for color version of my previous post as well

Voigtlander 20/3.5..... Anna reckons the edges are too sharp..... unlike most lens reviewers....it reminds me of the DA 15 on crop.

And... yeah right... we're not leaving here... call us all you want!

Thanks Bobbers, it's just clarity pushed to 100% in LR.

I was driving in this south alpine area in Austria (the country of origin of Arnold Schwarzenegger), and suddenly I saw this wooden bridge away with stone roof slightly bending under the weight to the flat stones. I looked for a road track so that I could get closer to this bridge, the road got too narrow for the car, so I stopped the car and got closer to the bridge by foot and walked onto the bridge while admiring its architecture mostly built with tree trunks taken from the area. Then I wanted to photograph the bridge trying to represent the construction. It moved around with the DFA24-70 and the K1 in live view + outdoor mode of the tilt screen. Was not so easy to fit the bridge into a perspective at 24mm, some of the edges are cut, I would have needed the DFA15-30 (or a 20mm prime) to fit exactly what I wanted to frame. But I still happy with what I got, I love perspective pictures.

Thanks Clackers..... probally would have chosen the 31 for a shot like this.... but good to know the small 20 can do it.....I'm doing the single in this month with the 20.....were taking Bailey down the beach a couple of times a day whilst he's still got some strength left to enjoy it.

It's a really overlooked lens, BE - it has wonderful rendering, too.

Love you letting the areas outside the bridge blow out to get all that detail in your shot, too.

Been shooting with the K-1 for a couple of months now. What continues to impress me is its low light/high ISO performance. AF locks into target without hesitation and there is very little noice in the pictures. This one was shot after midnight in bare moonlight.

That is what I was hoping for, although I like the more subtle color rendering of the 20mm better...if it works well on a crop sensor too then I can let go of my 21mm Ltd.
