Gotta love the little birdies.....you can shoot them or eat them, isn't it wonderful! Fine shot!

Otis sends his regards and advises your little squirrel buddy to protect his territory!

Here are some shots from today. Top shot of Bald Eagle with clear eye and then shot of Bald Eagle with nictitating membrane closed. Nice to see the cropping ability of K-1.
Some birds, amphibians, reptiles, fish, and mammals have three eyelids two similar to ours, and a third translucent or transparent eyelid, called a nictitating membrane. This membrane moves horizontally from the inside corner to the outer edge of the eye, much like a windshield wiper, when needed for protection, to clear debris, or to moisten the eye.

Shot with K-1 and SMC 500mm f/4.5

Normal clear eye

And now with nictitating membrane closed. You can see the veins in it.

Amazing eagle shots, cleaverx!
Fantastic work from fs999 as always!

This was taken with the Rokinon 14mm. I set the camera to interval shooting, 15s exposure every 20s. This was the best shot, by far. Wish the fireball had positioned itself better, but what are you gonna do?

I wish I'd tried the Astrotracer and maybe tried a 3 min exposure to see if I could get more than one, but they really seemed few and far between. Of 600 images, about 10 of them had meteors in them. You can also see the Milky Way, Pleiades, and M31 Andromeda galaxy in this shot.

Some photos from Denpasar market.

Too bad the building itself was burned down and only the market on the streets remained.
