Superb shot !

1. FF Mode • 100 ISO • Pentax DA* 200mm F2.8 ED SDM • Kenko Pz-AF UniPlus Tube 25

2. Crop Mode • 800 ISO • HD Pentax DA 560mm F5.6 ED AW

3. Crop Mode • 100 ISO • HD Pentax DA 560mm F5.6 ED AW

4. Crop Mode • 100 ISO • Sigma Art 18-35mm F1.8 DC HSM

Great as usual Frederick. On the moon shot, with that 560mm, how much of a crop is that, if any?
Thanks,
Eric

I forgot to mention that you are going backwards on those moon shots FS:......the one where only some of it showed was lookin' great...what happened?

Some nice shots on this page...very enjoyable.....but I do admit the best shot of all was brought to us by that big -eyed doggie!

Regards!

Two pics with the Sigma 8-16 @16mm. Vingeting is easily corrected...and the lens doesn't scratch the body

After more than one month of sitting in the box, my K-1 finally saw the light. Luckily for me the model was up to the task. We've started at her favorite place - the mousepad.

NO! I know the Forbes, and it is down the road and around the corner across from Smith, not on Main St. Near Rt 5 in the center of town. The Forbes building is in similar style, but it is a lower, more spread out building with many more trees.
Ah. My mistake. I've been away from home for a long time. This is the court house. City Hall is up Main St. toward Smith. It is on the corner of Crafts Avenue next to the Unitarian Church (if that's what it still is) which is next to Pulaski Park, followed by the Academy of Music (still the only municipally-owned movie theater in the country?). City Hall is diagonally across the road from the old Tripod Camera Shop (if you remember that) where I bought my first real camera, a Spotmatic! I currently suffer with K-1 envy. I'll refresh my memory next week when I'm there visiting my mother and dropping my two daughters off at Smith. Hopefully there will time to stop at one of my favorite places: Childs Park.

It's nice to meet someone from western Mass here! ☺️

I'm not a big cat fan, but that is a neat kitty and some really good shots.

I can understand a "Cat in a Hat"...but why was your K1 in a box for a month? Just curious.......

FS...move back!

A little girly Cardinal wanted to pose...she asked so nicely I couldn't refuse!

Technically, this is a complete mess

But I really like it anyway, despite the blur.
Apparently, The K1 shake reduction doesn't work on subject motion... who knew?...
And it proves that one can take a photo with the FA 50mm Macro that isn't sharp. This may be the only one that exists as everything else I shoot with that lens is practically perfect...

A few pics with the Revuenon 55/1.2 MC wide open, all SOOC Raw files converted to Jpegs and resized.

What astonishingly alluring grapes! Alas my Cosina 55 1.2 is in a bad way. I'd love to try it on the K-1.

That shot is what I'd call well done Eaglem! Maybe perfection is a better word! Only a good shot of Hubble could best it!

Thank you Rupert! If you check the large size on Flickr you'll see that at @f1.2 the term DOF is just a joke! I did my best to have the cat eye in focus

Thank you @jva59! You should try your Cosina. The K-1 gives new life to vintage glass!

LIB! (as we say in Texas!) That damn cat eye is in perfect focus...which makes that shot even more fantastic than I already thought it was!

Best Regards!
