You could also look at Pentax F 17-28 Fish zoom. it is very good (my copy is) of couse it is not an 15-30 quality but lens is 250g not 1000g. I've not tried defishing for know but it is because I'm not ready .
I've photographed quite a few ceilings in Europe (they know how to do ceilings), but none have turned out as well as that. Impressive.

Do you ever have that feeling that someone is watching you?

Heh, that's right out of Jurassic Park. Nice little croc you got there.

BTW, I noticed that without any fanfare, Adam chose to remove the ability to make comments when hitting the thumbs up Like button, it's just a normal Like button now?
It was probably an under-used feature and people probably never even saw mine, but I kinda liked it for keeping picture threads cleaner.

Thanks. Yes, I think there is some way that you can still comment on a like, but it is harder. Now, it is one click. I just used it for comments like "Great shot!" or some such thing. As you say, hard if you don't have a whole lot to say, but now you create a whole post for it.

Wonderful beach photos, its a very special lens the K30mm and has an appeal all its own. Its a great walkaround lens and you can get quite close with it. How you finding it on the K1? Thanks
I'm loving it on the K-1, I had to make myself take it off to put the K85 on and that's a great lens.

Hopefully you made the hike around to the other side so you could wait 30 min for the people to get out of the base of it!

Its a great camera for the vintage lens and now they're hardly on e-bay glad I got some before the full frame announcement because they are nowhere to be seen. Thanks for the reply. The look from the vintage glass is very unique I find.

No. It was our last day touring, early AM, and there were several additional stops we wanted to make before a long drive up to Salt Lake City. We decided that the time to take the long hike would not yield a reasonable return.

My D FA* 70-200 arrived today, and I had enough time to run down to the waterfront and take one shot. Optical perfection, this lens might be too good for me.

Aoraki (Mt Cook), the highest mountain in New Zealand. K-1 with Pentax 28-105. Five bracketed shots in DNG merged out of camera as HDRin Photomatix.
