You know, you just made me check my K-1, and I'm surprised to find myself right there with you around the 4600 shot mark.

I think I may have already reached half the entire shot count of my K-5 which I had for several years and just recently let go of.

This camera has really inspired me to get out and shoot more. That alone has been worth the price of admission!

Thanks Eric, yes, the K1 is so good, its making me a bit lazy... I don't worry about framing as much since there is so much croppability, I don't worry about exposure, since the DR is huge, I just set to -2ev and can recover rest in post, thus my ND filter kit is sitting wasted... the IS is so good that I don't use my tripod as often... all in all its made things so much easier.... I would prefer a fully reticulating LCD though, like the Canon 80D... and oh If they could make a version with EF mount, to use all my Canon lenses that would be just awesome

Rondec, love the blues in your images

Johnc... wonderful Lanscapes

LeRolls... what can I say... beauty all around

fs999... your energy and passion inspires me

wpresto, wonderfully natural looking vistas

erictator, excellent scapes from you

neopolar, love that tree shot.

everyone else who I have forgotten to mention... great shots, keep them coming!

Cheers,
K-amps

Pentax 135mm f3.5

Vintage glass K135mm f3.5 really does well with the K1. Just to add to the great photos I see in this thread

thanks both - one of those friendly bits of weather that you can watch approaching, and it doesn't change or do a handbrake turn at the last minute

Thanks Frederick!

You are up to your usual stellar standard I see. I especially like the foamy head and rich dark brew in the product quality shot along with the colorful arranged holiday ornaments.
Is that a Japanese red maple in the #2 slot? Very nice red and vein details, whatever it is.
Eric

another one from this morning - just strolling down the path by the edge of the bay with the K-1 and 70-200 hand-held and enjoying looking at and snapping the frosty misty view.
