You know, you just made me check my K-1, and I'm surprised to find myself right there with you around the 4600 shot mark.
I think I may have already reached half the entire shot count of my K-5 which I had for several years and just recently let go of.
This camera has really inspired me to get out and shoot more. That alone has been worth the price of admission!
Thanks Eric, yes, the K1 is so good, its making me a bit lazy... I don't worry about framing as much since there is so much croppability, I don't worry about exposure, since the DR is huge, I just set to -2ev and can recover rest in post, thus my ND filter kit is sitting wasted... the IS is so good that I don't use my tripod as often... all in all its made things so much easier.... I would prefer a fully reticulating LCD though, like the Canon 80D... and oh If they could make a version with EF mount, to use all my Canon lenses that would be just awesome
