K-1 + fa31

Can't pry FA31 from K-1; my favorite lens right now.

Very stunning. If you do install the new insulated glass, it will be our loss. Love your window ice images.
Tess is getting tired to waking up with a temperature of 13ēC in the bedroom. Those slidinng single panes always have an 3mm gap between the panes. That's 52ēF and a 1/8 inch gap, for the non-conformists who haven't gone metic yet.

Glad you're enjoying but your copy, at least in this photo, looks to be badly front focusing. Correct that and I think you will really be impressed with the FA31! (Mine was awesome until it fell from my bag. Now it doesn't seem to focus right or be so sharp.)

thanks MadMathMind. Yes, good eyes - the focus is not right on that. K-1 and me need to learn to take better pictures of a jumping dancer that was 1 out of 100 pictures I think

sorry about your FA31. It'll be missed for sure.

Pentax December in SG
This time is a cosplay event in Marina Barrage and we have try to set up 2 booth, 1 with 2 strobe lights and 1 with 3 flashes.

3 flashes and use of ND Filter to allow wide open shots.

2 Strobe lights with ND Filter.

All shots with FA85

I braved the snow and wind to walk (for a short time) along the shore of lake Ontario. Snapped this lamp post (which reminded me of the Narnia books) on the way.

More and more Utah. I keep thinking some Pentaxian will complain about the endless images from this one trip, but it's the only excursion we've had since I purchased the K1.

Well, all I've got is flat land, palm trees, water and a bunch of birds around here mostly, it is where I live. What if you lived in Utah? We would see a whole lot more of your red rock landscapes and mountains! So, roll with it until you run out of good pics, and we will keep enjoying the show, and seeing how the others live. Its all perspective.
