Hi Jean,

A very good Panorama, good lighting...detail and colour..

Thanks. It's actually a deep crop, not a multi-file stitch.

Haven't seen too many images from you Jean, but it was worth the wait for that pair. The girl is enchanting.

Excellent photograph, both from a composition and technically.

Bonjour,

Thanks for your comments and the B&W is via Lr4. I bought the K-1 late Thursday afternoon at my local B&M store (Phox Photo) and only shot with it a bit yesterday (Friday). Very good first impressions and I waited a while on a K-1 acquisition once having sold my K-3 (plus DA 18-135 WR ) to my French father-in-law. I thought a bit about getting a Sony A-7 variant so that I could shoot my Minolta MC/MD and Canon FD gear. The K-1 is large, especially compared to the A-7, but I will get used to that easily. I could care less about K-1 GPS and would have preferred a small on-board flash for minor fill-in duty. Oh well ... it's not a big deal, but now I need to tote the flash about in the bag from time to time ... loss of space which could be used to carry more lenses.

Here's another rush portrait of Charlotte that I shot in the kitchen Friday morning before I took her to school (FA 77/1.8 wide open). The other image is a random street shot at lunch break (first) testing the DA 15 Limited in 1:1 ... plus some FF action, too. I do not know yet if I will keep this lens in the long run now that I have the K-1 ... Cheers, J

Merci, W.

Things have been quite complicated lately, so less photography happening ... no health issues, just job related junk.

Hopefully things will be less rocky soon ... à plus tard, J
