Here are a few photos from my side, I picked up the K-1 last friday in the morning, and in the evening, I was attending an international meeting of young circus artists... in really low light...

(all photos K-1 with DFA*70-200/2.8)

1
200mm, f/2.8, 1/160s, 3200iso

2
200mm, f/2.8, 1/200s, 6400iso

3
200mm, f/3.2, 1/250s, 12800iso

4
170mm, f/3.2, 1/200s, 2500iso

5
200mm, f/3.2, 1/200s, 10000iso

6
115mm, f/3.2, 1/125s, 8000iso

7
78mm, f/3.2, 1/125s, 32'000iso

8
140mm, f/3.2, 1/200s, 5000iso

9
88mm, f/2.8, 1/160s, 1250iso

10
200mm, f/2.8, 1/160s, 12800iso

The conditions were not really ideal for photography, but the K-1 did really well regarding AF, high iso capabilities and metering accuracy.

My first photos with K-1! All taken with DA* 60-250/4 in FF mode, no problems there.

Those are excellent!

Here's what I am liking......Jays don't perch and stay, they are jittery and you have maybe 4-5 seconds to get a shot before they are gone. Before the K1 I wouldn't have wasted my time trying to focus the Bigma on short notice before he was gone in the low light. Here I locked on instantly and got the shot a second before he was gone.
In good light at f8 and ISO 200-400 I will get some very decent shots with the fast focus. Maybe not Pro shots....you guys didn't fall for that "Rupert Pro" stuff, did you?...but still maybe decent! Very excited!

Regards!

Has anyone tried the 16-50mm or the 50-135mm on the K-1 with a 1.4x teleconverter?

It plays very nicely with the FA100 Macro, focussing is much better than it was with the K-3 and TAV mode worked superbly.

@tomO2013: wow... I don't like watermarks but your photos are incredible!
The portrait of the man in the blue jacket is amazing! What lens have you used here? Great work and good edit!
