Old Statehouse, Utah. This is one wing of a building that was proposed to have a major central part, then a wing to match this one on the far side. In hopes of getting federal money from the president, the town was named Filmore in the county named Millard. But the president was insufficiently flattered, and in disgust the Mormons moved their capital to Salt Lake City and this structure was abandoned. It's now a history museum and general purpose building (temporary art exhibits, dances, meetings)

There were several trees on the shore down like this one, remnants of a bad storm last summer.

This shot made me sad after I got home and looked close in post processing, I could see the poor pelican with wings lifted has a fishing line or leader and maybe a hook tangled under it's wing. :-(
I'm going to try and alert the park service to be on the lookout, maybe animal rescue can help it?
