Early Morning Picacho Peak State Park Fog

Rare fog in this area. Picacho Peak State Park, CA, USA, on the lower Colorado river, is about 20 miles north of Yuma, AZ. Walked from a 4 wheel drive road overlook through a small canyon to a nearby hilltop to get the first shot. You can see a vehicle in the campground in the middle right of the shot. Pixel Shift worked very well for this shot. Second shot is of Picacho Peak and was taken just off a 4 wheel drive road a couple miles from the first shot. Pixel shift worked for this shot only because there was no breeze. Of course I take non-Pixel Shift shot for backup.

Thanks. Your pics was the reason i got the lens. Is your copy show decent sharpness at f8? Mine doesn't seem to be of decent sharpness, and consistent across the frame, until f11. Still like the lens a lot, looking forward to some bokeh shots next, and the 20mm focal length.
Thank you ! Mine is sharp at F2.8, but sometimes at F5.6, or when I use 3 filters, the borders are not so sharp. I'm lurking at an Iris 15mm...

Superb shots Eric ! The colour, the framing are just perfect !

All he had to say was "That LeRolls is trying to kill me, but it's a great way to go!"
It'll take most of the day for him to get his blood pressure back down....if he doesn't come back for "refresher views"!

Regards!

Regretfully, I can't show him this for a day or two. He is still in Intensive Care from that last shot and I'm most certain this one would be the end of him.
Matter of fact, 200 over 97 is not a good reading for me either....I need to pop a couple more BP pills myself!

BTW- When he gets a print of shots like this one, he uses his colored pencils to "fill in the blanks"....leaving nothing to the imagination.....such a filthy little rodent!

Regards!....Excellent work you do for us here!

Concert picture

Both picture are done at a concert with K1 and FA* 28-70. Both are 1/25s. The first picture is 3200 F4.5, the second ISO1600 with F2.8.
Good to test the low light quality of the K1. :-)

Kenspo, you are a rock and roll machine.

This shot is from today's anti-trump demonstration in KC. The mounted police here are nothing but cool, and they love the public interaction if you count the smiles. :-)

Wonderful shots, love the colors here. That looks like an amazing place to hike and shoot...
