For some reason I never really noticed your numbers in your signature...but man you should have seen my face when I understood it was lenses haha !!
As far as I remember, I never met anyone with such a lens collection, be it on forums or real life, congrats thats a wonderful setup you got...and your pictures are always liked by me.

Well, thanks. I enjoy your photos as well!

Concerning the numbers in my signature, strictly speaking it's not list of lenses, it's list of focal lengths . But be sure that there are guys here on the forum who managed to put together much wider lens collection than myself. There are still quite some lenses I'd love to have at home, but as my space is limited and my time is limited too, I decided to bear up against the LBA.

Great shot! You can really "feel" being right there.

Poor ol' Charlie, it just gets worse. You know how it is when you lose a lover or your friends...you start to compensate by eating..and eating .....and eating....next thing you know you're a damn flying pig!

"Do I look fat?"

Yep Charlie, you look fat enough to eat...and doves are delicious.........

Regards!

Single shot with Sigma 10-20 @10mm FF mode, cropped to 5844x3737 pixels, much higher resolution and wider angle than APSC mode

This set was a walk in the park so to speak with the DA*300. So many good lenses to play with, so little time, and hard to choose a favorite.

I am going to a catered event later today, being forced by circumstance to pack a "small bag" for K-1... I think my Lowepro holster K-1 w/DA*300 in main pocket, and Tamron 28-75 in side pocket is as small as I'm willing to go.
For some reason, the Misses doesn't think this is small enough kit. Sheesh! Wimmen! :-)

You know when you are shooting indoors and you forget to put your ISO back to 100? Yeah, that one. Fortunately, the K-1 doesn't care. Tight crop, almost pixel peeping:

Hey Ruptert, I bet Frederick never cooked one of these birdies...

Pentax K-1 smc PENTAX-DA* 300mm F4 ED [IF] SDM ƒ/16.0 300.0 mm 1/180 iso400

Or, one of these for that matter... heh heh.

Yeah, but he would if he could catch one...that FS will cook anything and everything. I bet he is licking his lips when viewing ol' Charlie?

Notice the color difference in this one from ol' Charlie above...this was done from the Raw and is more accurate in color......that other shot...for some reason the K1 did not deliver a Raw file with the Jpeg..it was there but the file was empty???

I mostly use the Raw files.....better color control and better processing opportunities.

Regards!
