Awww shucks... Thanks WPRESTO , Rupert & Frederick!

The gear and the subjects make it all too easy... I feel I have been blessed with good copies of lenses that I could actually afford, especially the DA*300 and D FA100 I purchased from a forum member on our great classifieds section, and my repaired Tamron was always sharp but now it can also AF quickly... The K-1 is a dream to shoot. I can't believe I'm about to hit 8K so soon on my "new" camera already... and I feel like I am just beginning to get a clue of this thing's potential.

Where do I start? The first has a artful watercolor appeal to the bokeh, the birdie looks almost as delicious as the excellent food composite below it, (that was just for you Rupert, LOL) and the last one is the real stunner for me. That wind turbine sittling all by itself, dead center by my reckoning, but with the prop center in the upper third and the sun spotting it, shows that you know when and how to use and also break the rules. Nice one!

Too cute, great shot. Who knew so many variety of squirrels. I saw some giant black ones in Canada... they were like little bears. LOL.

A sunset
Wow, a real productive day! All great but I'm a sucker for the macro and that lake shot in particular.

What a wonderful little birdie and birdie shot! Please, I beg of you FS, let him be! Don't cook him in one of your "gourmet" dishes!

Some fine shooting there! You know FS, you are really getting the hang of this camera Stuff...I'm proud of you!

#3 ( and I do thank you for still numbering them...you know how confused I can get!)
On the top left, squirrels inquire...is that a corn pie? If so, would you share the recipe?

Regards!

Just got a note from the squirrels...they claim they are what holds this place together? I bet the "squirrel hater" would disagree with that!

I enjoy this thread for the excellence in ability we see so often. I shoot for fun and it's a good thing since I am short on ability, but do enjoy seeing the fine work of the skilled shooters that inhabit this thread....you are one of them!

Best Regards!

"Who'd have guessed! Even the bark where that sap has flowed is delicious!"

Hey! That squirrel looks familiar. Think I saw a picture of him somewhere around the house.

I skied up to a spot I wanted to photograph the moonrise from tonight but got shut out by clouds. On the way back to the car I liked how the town lights were lighting those clouds so I got this instead.
