Couple shots with the K-1 and the 24-70. Good that this lens is WR!
Excellent shooting!

It scared the little blind orphan squirrels that she has no body....but I liked it...and 'playing around" is always a good thing...and fun!

Squirrels like those.....reminds them of their bravery to risk their lives on the strength of a tiny screw!

Regards!

BTW- Squirrels just voted that I should be hung for that post in the other thread......they called it "K1 Blasphemy" I'll try to get them to hang me from a Cheater Branch....at 192 pounds I should come out pretty good!

A few more from a drizzly miserable day... the only good news was I had the shore mostly to myself.

I don't use this lens nearly enough,

Pentax K-1 smc Tokina 20-35 II ƒ/8.0 20.0 mm 1/400 iso160

This guy was glad I had the 300mm with me to keep me reasonably far away... still cropped a fair bit

Pentax K-1 smc PENTAX-DA* 300mm F4 ED [IF] SDM ƒ/5.6 300.0 mm 1/1000 iso200

For a dark cloudy day, the 300mm AF SDM seemed to work well enough, at least on a large slow bird.

Thanks Roksonne! Yeah, that tokina doesn't suck.
That last one had to be pure luck, because we all know K-1 can't do CAF and I only took 2 shots panning with that BIF, and both came out in focus. Maybe I should have asked it to zigzag?

Testing some action with the sigma 70-200. Kid running towards me. About half of the frames were in focus. This one almost in focus.
