A Christmas present from my Dad in 1980, my M20/4 hasn't seen any use or even the light of day for over 20 years. Yesterday I pulled it out of storage and slapped it on my K-1. When the rain stopped near the end of the day, I ran out and tried some shots from our soggy front yard. None of these are - of course - keepers, but I was pleased to see how well the stop-down metering works on the K-1. I never expected to photograph with this little lens ever again, but now I think it might find itself in my bag once-in-a-while.

If you have to post ONLY Squirrel pictures, how about changing the location of the camera.

Thank you Rupert!
I was happy to be able to get to my location in time. My calves are tired this morning!

You must be kidding? I can sit here in my comfy little office and shoot out the windows, sip my coffee, and have my feet in my heated foot massager. Why on earth would I want to go out in the elements, exert all that energy, fight off mosquitoes and suffer the humiliation of squirrels trying to spit on me?

Squirrels appreciate it when I stay in here and I appreciate it when they stay out there. They don't mind the twice a day I deliver sunflower seeds, roasted peanuts, apple slices and the occasional cold beer.....As long as I deliver, they stay out there...and who the hell wants squirrels gnawing through the walls and coming inside?

BTW- I post some birdies too....you missed them?

Regards!

Nice, I'm hoping to summit Wilson and a few other 14ers this summer in preparation for Kilimanjaro.

Yes, I know, this gator isn't the moving kind, but I still thought he was a cool addition to the garden, heh.

Love the purple rendering of that flower w/ ART lens, still looks great in crop mode too.

Great frosty leaf too.

This is the second shot of that birdie and I finally figured what was bothering me... one foot is backwards! I guess he is in mid turn, or ready to bolt in either direction, or... he had an injury like RGIII and never got it fixed.

For the one person somewhere on this earth that has never seen a few million moon shots, I give you their greatest appreciation. I am sure they will find it amazing! Wherever they are I am sure they will say..."That FS guy must have a great camera!"

When you are a little birdie around FS you need to be prepared to take off lickity-split in any direction when he pulls out his frying pan.

Struggling!

I'm just struggling to make Ms meet . . . . . . . . . In this case: my M4 with my 36-year-old M20/4 and my 38-year-old M135/3.5. After running some errands on this gorgeous afternoon, I pulled my car over to the side and grabbed some quick pics; the first shot is with the M20 and the second two are from the M135.
