I miss the old days in the K5IIs thread.....I'm thinking of finding another K5IIs, it was such a great camera!

Regards!
Thanks, Rupert. It was fun. I agree. The K-1 is terrific, but the K 5IIs was terrific and fit perfectly in my hand.

He fooled you too! That is just plain old alphabet veggie soup! He might have fooled me to, but squirrels can sniff out an impostor dish a mile away!

"Smells like alphabet veggie soup to me!"

Outlaw

Hot-rodded, highly modified air-cooled Porsche 911s are often dubbed "outlaws" by the Porsche cognoscenti, and I was able to get a few shots of one at Porsche Concours in Kemah, TX this morning. Modifying vintage Porsches, considered creative by some and sacrilege by others, is becoming less common, since the value of some years and models of these older cars has climbed to the point that fiddling with them is poor economics. Anyway, I was fortunate to see this blue example - just wish I could drive it.

Jer

Not a problem! If you want some FS pictures, the squirrels have everything he has ever posted on file in their "Community Computer". Just ask and they will give it to you (small fee).....They even have little watermarks indicating which squirrel took the shot.......

Cheating is their favorite pastime. Here is one I caught them posting on my ASUS screen and shooting with my new 85mm Rokinon.....which made it an official K1 shot. First they stole it, then they copied it with my K1 and new lens.... a double cheat...you should have heard them cheering!

They claimed she was naked when she was shot....but I sure don't recall it?

These squirrels seem to be everywhere. Not DA15 controls our minds - the squirrels do! You seem to be best proof for this theory. Maybe they also wear glasses that allow to look through clothes. So for them she is naked … and you too?!

Regards!

Superb shots Jean ! Will try my projector lens

I hate to disagree FS, but even squirrels know that is just ordinary alphabet vegetable soup with all the letters missing except the "O's". It's not fancy cooking as you are trying to pass off, it is just plain old alphabet veggie soup! How long did it a take you to sort out the "O's"?
You never cooked a risotto, did you ? Sorting all the "O" rice grains is even harder

Yes, I do love the crop mode on the K1! However, in my experience, the K5IIs renders better results than the K1 in Crop Mode. Not sure just why, but I am certain in my experience that it does. Anyone with a K5IIs should hang on to it....and read this over in the K3 thread by old grouchy Norm.....he may be grouchy at times, but he knows his stuff!
How much more magnification does a K-3 gives you-real world - PentaxForums.com

A K5IIs with the low light AF abilities of the K1 would be my ultimate dream camera!

Regards!
