A few more of our furry friends... the first one at the top of this page had me scratching my head a while... did anyone else notice the mom's leg count didn't look right for amount of rights and lefts? Odd illusion!
This one looks more normal.

Pentax K-1 Tamron SP AF 70-200mm F2.8 Di LD [IF] Macro /5.6 200.0 mm 1/320 iso200

The young ones are so cute, the old one's just like to chuck their poo at each other... reminds me of some people.

I asked a Cherokee elder once how many squirrels to be equivalent to a chicken, he said "Oh maybe 12." That's a lot of wandering around in the bush to get a meal. Maybe not so hard in High Park in Toronto.

There is that many here gathered around a fence post with a cob of corn on it!

"Please don't let FS see me here...you know how he is!"

......I'll let FS know you are a protected species.

An experiment in contrasts - - soft vs sharp. First image taken with an 85mm f2.2 soft with a Pentax +1 close-up filter. Second image is a stack of five taken with a 90mm f2.5 Tokina macro. The small file size to post of PF has, unfortunately, destroyed all the detail present in the original of the second image, I'll go back an extract a crop to show what's there.

OK, I've added a crop from the second image that shows how much detail the Tokina macro captured. BTW: The upper images are also cropped a bit, down to maybe 2/3 the area of the uncropped image.
