Nice guy !

Thank you kindly! I'm still trying to figure out how to fix the tonal issues due to the variety of light sources but it's getting there

FS-Yep, that is more good work and a lovely view too!

FS -Your post showed up twice......delete one of them so people won't think I didn't train you well on how to post here, it reflects badly on me...and the squirrels!

This little girlie refused to get on the Cheater Branch until it gets a safety inspection. I explained that it is perfectly safe, that screw is strong, and squirrels get on it all the time without concern.

"That's because squirrels are vile filthy dumb and stupid critters that will put their own lives at risk for that rancid sap when it flows."

You know, she is probably right?

Some more K-1 ice.... meadow ice this time...
DFA 28-105.

These last two look fantastic on my home monitor, and so crappy on here. It's amazing photbucket thinks I would ever order a print from them. They make images look crappy on the internet, why would their print service be any better?

And a Gray Jay

Neat ice shots. Man, pretty Gray, but look at all the bands on that little guy! He's been handled a few times, and must feel like a multiple time alien abductee by now.

Never seen a Gray Jay before...pretty neat! It was 94F here today Norm......blue skies, bright sunlight and soft breezes. It is hard to imagine ice when it is this warm...but it could still happen here. Weather is crazy stuff!

@ LeRolls - I heard one squirrel saying to all the others gathered around their outdoor monitor...."Stop crowding the screen, there is plenty of hiney there for all of us!" Yep, if you are a "hiney kind of guy" like me and my squirrels, this one would be near impossible to beat!

Very lovely girl and very well shot!

BTW- Mrs Rupert came in as I had this on the screen and she said "I'll never ask you again if my hiney is too big!"
Well her Instagram name is Natgotback.

Not my best picture, but to point out - two Yognuo Speed-lights were used with Wireless transmitters.

Pentax Fa35, ƒ/8.0, 3s. iso100.

P.s I`ve just bit the bullet and ordered DFA 28-105 from US to Lithuania from B&H.
I hope it will stand a chance against my legacy primes being versatile and WR.
