thanks for the reply, mate.
I saw that they updated the special site to the K-1 with dates when the next things will be revealed. hopefully the manual and the labor will be online soon, haha.
Anyways, do you mean the tamron USD 2.8 version or the screw drive 2.8? (Are they optically the same?!)

Best regards to the "professor"
You're welcome my friend. I mean this lens:
Tamron 70-200mm F2.8 Di LD Macro Lens Reviews - Tamron Lenses - Pentax Lens Review Database
If I'm not wrong it's the only one you can find with K-mount...

Thank you so much for detailed review. It makes me even more exited. Sounds great, including learning curve.

A great concept. Some useful images are in there already too for some DA lenses - eg the DA70, DA40, and DA*55 images look fine.

Also nice to see all those glorious FA* lenses listed. Hopefully some images using them with the K-1 will show up soon.

I should point out that these pros have no concern about using f/18 -- diffraction be damned! (proof that all "rules" are meant to be broken)

jepp saw that too, f18 and a pretty neat shot
Like the idea of the lens lab and great news it is in a kinda pre-opening state. The shot with the FA50 of that Creek is incredible sharp, wow!

Thanks for sharing redpit!!!

I wonder if someone will be faster or better connected with Pentax-Ricoh to take the privilege of posting the first real high resolution picture with a market K-1 camera from you

So true! I've never had a chance of a good photo with so small aperture even with some fine macros... Interesting choice!

This K-1 website I think is great both in lay out and content. The stories feel so genuine and true (speak to the hearts of Pentaxians) and now that pictures will do the talk I hope we will love K-1 even more

That's great news! I'm sure from the little time I spent with the pre-production K-1 that you already have some wonderful pics from it, but let's see the real thing and what it can do!
