Playing with K-1 and D-FA 15-30mm

I had my first serious play with the D-FA 15-30mm f2.8 and am very impressed with the sharpness and handling on the K-1
Here are a few images

Plenty of drama in the first image with the bridge. The water texture is particularly effective in that one, akin to the opening scene of a film noir detective movie.

Definitely subtle colors creeping one into the other. Lovely soft lighting to bring out both the colors and texture,

Some nice viewpoints of Melbourne Central, there. I assume that last one is of a fire exit!

Nice colors in that night shot clackers. Where did you find your vantage point? I have found some parking garages that have a decent roof top area, but many aren't open at night.
24 Hour parking garage with a roof top area with views in two directions, Eric. A couple of other togs were up there that evening, then, a touch of the surreal - young Asian college students shooting a dance video.

None of us had permission. Goodness knows what the security guy made of it all from his monitor.

Thanks Rob.

The last one was Postal Lane behind the old GPO (now restaurants/cafes) - loved the signs
