Helios 40 at f1.5, I always struggled focusing this one on the K-3, but it was a joy to use on the K-1 (if a bit too heavy for a walk about).

Just fantastic! Did you Liveview, or use the viewfinder?

They have a chicken breast salad.

Spiratone 400mm f6.3 preset is fun!
It's much brighter on FF, and makes such a lightweight combo with K-1. Its sweet spot is around f11-16, and because of SR the handling of this lens is incredibly easy.
Here are the pics hand held, focusing in VF, with no pp, except a bit leveling and a bit exposure adjusting. My copy has black coating, so I have to figure out exposure on my own.
Next time will bring this long monster out for birding.

I used one of the many great features on the K-1, the articulated screen, and only had to kneel in the dust.

Perfect shot, worth the wear on the knees!

I never knew I wanted an articulated screen till I tried it out for low level shots of forest plants...... And I was so sure it was pointless!

You know Racer......you guys are ganging up on old Rupert, but I'm not gonna bite...even into a chicken salad.

1/160 handheld @450mm ISO 12,800 with some minor noise control in processing. This camera makes everything for me so easy!

I think my Bigma needs a little minor focus adjustment ....gonna work on that today.

Regards!....so you go to Hooters for the chicken salad and wings? That what you tell Mrs Racer?

Nope...still not going for it Racer. You tried!

1/50 handheld @ 370 mm...the Bigma is no easier to handle at 50 mm than at 500.....I'm pretty impressed with the new SR!

Regards!

As I sold Sigma 18-35 and 10-20 Lens acquire syndrome back in action.
Pentax F 17-28 Fisheye. Not the sharpest lens, but small and quite good @ K1.
