How often do you guys get "bummed out" with sorrow from your failures? This is a dark and dreary morning, but I had a great opportunity to shoot a very handsome male Cardinal in a very natural and perfect setting. He was willing and I took about two dozen rapid shots, not stopping to view them on the LCD. When I went to process them all were very underexposed and pushing them only made them ugly with noise. FIne shots, the poses were perfect...but the settings were all wrong. Might not have been all that good at a higher ISO, but I think they would have been usable?
I moved the ISO setting up to ISO 3200 in the same light and still at 1/80 handheld to see what I might have gotten on the ones I ruined.....Yep, it would have made all the difference!
Bummer!
