Dark day here...had to go to ISO 5000 here. You lose a lot of IQ when you go up the scale.....

Thanks JV! Can't expect much at those ISO settings.

Later today I slowed to 1/80 handheld and got back down to ISO 800. ISO 800 is very good on the K1!

These are from three weeks ago but I only managed to edit them this week..

I actually was looking for some nice milkyway shots but I and my dad didn't manage to find a spot facing in the right direction..

As usual, everything containing stars is shot with my SMC Takumar 28/3.5. You'd think it'd be too slow for it but I find it fine and reasonably sharp wide open. (in fact, I have accidentally knocked the A/M switch over many times and shot half a day wide open without noticing before editing )
