Something a little different...as this plant decays, it reminds me of the lead framework for stained glass.

Fireworks from last 2 Saturdays, shot with Sigma 10-20

due to the fireworks was very high, I have to shoot at 10mm FF mode, the photographer next to me shot with his Canon at full frame 15mm could not capture the top firework fully and also unable to capture full water reflection, no choice he has to tilt the lens upwards which resulted in perspective distortion, ie. the buildings badly slanted.

Really well done!

Fiddling around in infrared

The K-1 is a champ for IR, especially when combined with some old Pentax glass (Pentax-M 28mm 2.8), no hot spots whatsoever

Variety using Sigma 500 f4.5 and K1. The last one is ISO 6400.

Oh man, I just love this shot!
Thanks! It wasn't planned at all. Jade and I stopped at a Thai/Sushi place near where we were shooting to eat and go over the images. They had a neon sign in the front so we decided to see what we could get. We both quite like the mood and atmosphere of the shot.

I guess nature gave hummingbirds a long beak, but also gave bee's some smart's and a pointy proboscis

All cropped quite a bit.

Congratulations. Those are fantastic shots of the bee showing its ingenuity! I have that same trumpet vine, so will keep a close watch. Keep up the great work.
