That B&W of Nepean Bridge really does it for me!!! Nice processing and great alignment of a cool architectural shot.

Choices choices... DA*300 vs/ FA50... I should leave off the Exif and make y'all guess, but I'm not that cruel. Heh. I was fortunately close enough to play with both for laughs and compare.

oooh... something yummy under here.

That first one is special Frederic, but the second purple flower is no slouch either. Nice set!
I know the bears are more fuzzy, but I'd rather pet your flowers... better survival chances.

acoufap, incredible limit of the depth of field.
The first photo is a medium size bear, about 300 pounds or so. Shot was taken from my back porch at a distance of roughly 75 feet about 20 minutes after sunset so I had to brighten it a wee bit in PP. He was finishing eating an apple when I took that, you can see a small bit of apple flying out the right of his mouth and he was not too concerned of me.
Not the type of attitude I prefer in a bear.
The second bear is an old female, about 400 pounds at least. She is missing a bunch of hair on her rump. Took that shot at the edge of the meadow below the house at a distance of roughly 100 yards and when she heard the shutter go off she took off running. That is a good attitude. I am going to have to practice mirror lock up, that shutter sure is load.
Best Regards, Bob
Nice action shot on the second bear, looks like you had a little better lighting for that one too. The trouble with nature/action, you gotta take what you are given and make the best of it, heh.

Yes, yes it is. And that's a nice pattern shot. Almost looks like an MC Escher drawing.

Cool old house, looks like asbestos shingles on the walls, if so prolly almost 100yrs years old if its a day. Wow. That stuff does last... had a house with that same pattern on the roof.

Looks like the old 20mm flares a bit in direct side light, but I like the effect coupled with the old house in the first shot, gives the shot a nice mood. Cool shot.

Thanks fellas. It's 5 bracketed hdr merge + 1 long exposure file stacked in Photoshop, then editing in LR and Topaz Black & White to finish, took quite some time! hehe
