Just had a week in the Lake District. I took my new (old) lens along......K 15mm 3.5. It still does ok for a 40 year old lens.

Not surprising for k lens. When taken care of, lenses can last a very long time, especially the metal built ones, think of the hold collector cars.
Not sure what the newer lenses may look like in 40 years from now as plastic / polymers tends to harden when aging.

Southern California has been experiencing a heatwave these past couple of weeks. So, imagine our surprise when water suddenly started falling from the sky in the late afternoon. These photos were taken at the Long Beach Comic Con with the DFA 24-70/2.8 & AF540FGZII on my K-1. Safe to say I was the only photog running around with no cover.
