Very nice.

From the streets of Valladolid, Mexico. Couldn't decide between color and B&W.

This is a two-exposure blending. It was taken last year. When exposing for the mountain, the sky goes white. When exposing for the sky, the mountain goes black.

I never managed to blend them properly because it always looked too unnatural. Recently I read that setting the blend layer to Multiply can help for a natural blend. I think this blend works well now.

Bruce Banner

I've been waiting a long time to have these two figs. I've had HULK for a long time now, he cost me $60AUD alone! Only recently did Lego release an actual 'Bruce Banner' fig in a $79AUD set! So finally I could now do this (expensive) sketch that I have wanted to do for so very long =)

Agree, go with the color. Bright colors, almost carnival-like, are very Mexican. The red adds significantly to the mood and sense of place.

I posted a different version of this subject months ago, so hopefully this one won't seem hackneyed. Taken at Coral Pink Sand Dunes.

Don't laugh, maybe it's my warped mind, but it looks like it's flipping you the bird.

Joking aside, yes, very nice simple shot.

I took this rather mundane, heavily back-lit shot of a butterfly up on a tall bush for laughs because I figured that being against the sky it would be a great test and near impossible to come out decent.

The K-1's D-range and the good old Tamron, they continue to impress me. It's a killer combo for the little money spent if you get a good copy of the lens.

Sure, it took a little PP in PS to push the shadows and drop some highlights, but the fact that it could be done at all still amazes. Of course the fact that the wings are a little translucent helped a lot too, and it shows off the mileage he's put on those wings.

The 28-105 again. It's a very nice lens even though I usually prefer primes.
