We are among strangers here, and though we know some posters, many are unknown and possibly a little scary.

Case in point......I received an anonymous E-mail requesting I post some squirrel shots here right away......and threatening me if I don't.

That is pretty weird, but what is worse...and damn scary is that the unknown person went on to say he/she? was sick and tired of LeRols girls taking up space that rightly belonged to handsome squirrels.

It kind of gave me the creeps.......you too?

OK...for the sick pervert out there somewhere....here you go!

Natchez was very sad to hear that @Rupert was so sick. She wishes him a quick full recovery. She also said that my behavior lately has been a wee bit lunie, not quite sure what she meant by that.

Another from before the storm... going to take a while to heal the grounds around here. On the bright side, I bet we get an awesome spring, what with the trees all beat back, more sun should get at the lower plants.

First shots with my new K-1 and Sigma 70 - 300 DG APO. I think the camera will do but the user needs to get his act together. I got very confused with all the buttons and knobs - lots to learn on this one !

Thanks to my brother KeithG for editing the RAW files and converting to Jpg for me so I could post here.

Funny, the thing that first caught my eye in your series of pictures was the gutter, with the pop rivets and the shiny finish cement roof tiles, and I thought, must be Australia. Then looked at your avatar, and then finally at the birds, to confirm.

Most members of the forum would have been triggered in the opposite order.

that's larger on flickr but for web viewing i think it helps to downsize more and sharpen again

Glad you are back. I was worried about you, seeing the post you made from the hospital. Sounded like you would have had to get better to die there for awhile...
