walk in the meadow shots

Patriot, thank you Mike, photography is a great involvement.
Hattifnatt, love the street shots in Havana, nice work.
repaap, thank you, and tell you something interesting. Was looking at another thread and saw an identical photo of that butterfly I just posted, and the photo was taken in South Bohemia. I studied every detail & color on both photos and for sure the same, guess butterflies are world travelers or have relatives all over the planet.
Frederic, thank you for the compliment. I really like those first 3 shots of yours, nice texture, color & composition and definitely the subject. In the first shot the droplets look like ice, guess due to the color of the flower.
Eric, I am having such a fantastic time with all the lens. That one shot was with the 24-70 but interesting that you mentioned the old 70 macro because I am on a mission with it trying to get some better shots of the Ichneuman wasp that I am about to post a shot of taken with the 150-450. And lately I have been lugging the heavy 150-450 on my walks with the dog, which often are a mile or so and usually take more than an hour since I stop to try shots frequently. My latest quest is shooting birds, and I determined birds in the wild are all Amish, do not want their pictures taken. So far I have gotten a few fair shots and will post them later, maybe tomorrow. That is the reason I be hauling the big gun. Here then I post shots of 2 different Ichneuman wasp; followed by a grasshopper overlooking a cricket, kinda cool setting; and last a hemlock moon, gotta keep the madness going.
Best Regards, Bob

Pool of Siloam

This is a whopping 86mp stitched pixel shifted shot.
6 pixel shifted shots (with the FA50mm) were stitched together in ICE, and prior to that edited in RT to correct motion.
Then off to LR and Topaz Clarity for some adjustments pop.

It is water. It came from the clouds that collided with the mountain and wet all that it met, i.e. me
As Rondec said, nice moon !
Superb butterfly, Eric, so sharp and crisp !

haha, I live in the Blue Mountains and if it makes you feel any better I have barely scratched the surface in terms of locations and spots to visit. I swear you could live your entire life here and still miss certain spots. In fact I took a shot of a place awhile ago that even one of our friends who grew up here didn't know where it was and was hounding us to tell her! hehehe...
