A good monitor is not enough. As johnc said, you need a calibration system. I have Colormunki which also works for prints...
And the monitor must have IPS technology (In Plan Switching) !

Superb reds Rupert !
Thanks FS!

This one works perfectly for me. ASUS professional monitor

.......of course, I am not into shooting commonplace ugly moonshots like you are, so I don't need an Etch-A-Sketch to render them for viewing here.

Nice little bloom on that first shot FS....and the last shot is very interesting. You truly are getting the hang of this stuff.....

Regards!

The pepper harvesting season is nearing its end and I'm running out of space for dried peppers.

some random shots

Hattifnatt, terrific photos of the blind couple, third one is lovely.
normhead, excellent info, I for one am grateful for your generous contributions, thank you Norm.
Eric, downloaded that fuzzy wuzzy fella, nitpicked the pixels, and in the words of mister Frederic, SUPERB.
Rondec, really like the Valley at Dawn & the Seneca Creek Bridge shots, you are definitely finding the nicer scenes in your new area.
Frederic, Love that spike plant.
Rickster, excellent series, beautiful scenes & well shot.
matt123, stunning shots, especially the first one.
Here are some random shots. The spider web in the sun light was fun, could not focus on the web, had to dial in on a leaf where it attached. And last a Tamarack moon to continue the madness.
Best Regards, Bob
