gratitude

WPRESTO, pschlute, jva59, Thank you ever so much. It seems to me that most folks are not unlike me, they take the time to shoot a photo. And quite often it takes me too much time to decide exactly what all I am doing. Then there is the time involved in reviewing and processing the photos, which can be a lot; then the time required to log on and post. It requires far less time for me to comment, especially on so many images that are so worthy of it. I really do love photography, it is a fantastic form of visual art & communication. I enjoy taking photos and looking at them. In particular I certainly enjoy viewing all the interesting styles; scenes & subjects posted by such a vast variety of people from all over the world. When I first started viewing photos on this forum I was amazed, and I continue to be so. And look how many people contribute terrific advice which you can not put a price on. And once in a while there is humor, something to make us laugh, and laughter is such a good thing. Sure it is nice that some folks at least hit the like button, but for me the likes mean for less than a simple comment, such as the short ones that Frederic does. He lets people know in a better way than just like.
It is for sure good to know that others appreciate & enjoy the images that each of us post, probably the main reason we join the forum, to share what we do and share in what others do.
@WPRESTO I am very grateful for your statement of appreciation.
Best Regards, Bob

Thank you my friend! To tell you 1-2 things more about hose pics, I have found a nice spot that usually gives opportunities for pictures with the sun in the frame and especially during sunset behind a beautiful mountainous landscape. This year though due to earlier date of the airshow the sun was setting in a different direction and there were buildings, antennas and other disturbing objects during the golden sunset light, so my pics where taken a bit earlier thus they lack the reds I would love to have . Anyway, this is another example that proves not everything will be as planned in life! Everytime you face different challenges you have to cope with!

Both of your shots are excellent, but I really like this one.
