My offering - - a little focus-stacking in the "studio."

Went back to get a Pentax K-1 shot of a shot I did a couple years ago with another brand of gear. I love abstracts, but don't spend enough time searching for them. The abstract is a tight shot (no cropping) of water pouring out of a 1 meter pipe. Shot the water tower at sunrise on the way to the pipe. Pixel shift was used for the tower shots.
Just awesome shots!

Three from me - Perthshire last week. 15-30 for the first, the other two are 24-70.

Amazing detail in those shots.

This thread moves too fast to keep up.
More from the zoo with the DA*60-250 on the K-1 in FF mode.
Man I struggled with this one. In the shade under a roof shooting through wires on a cloudy day. I stopped the lens down for some extra depth of field.

These two were playing earlier, but I did not manage to catch it.

Waiting for lunch, glad to be behind the wire I am shooting through. I never did get the focus right on this one.

I love it here all year long except when we have too many tourists.

That's a nice crisp studio shot. How many images in the stack? What did you use?
50mm f2.8 SMCA; I think there were five images. Stacked in Zerene with "PMAX" then with "Dmap" which looked better, so that's the one that was spruced up a bit more in LR and posted.

Trying to do more night portraiture. Something I wasn't too keen on with the K-3 but feel more confident with the K-1. This one was shot at ISO 1600.

Single shot on the K1: Used a flashlight to gently light paint the mountain to get some details during the long exposure. Spillover light on the base was a bonus.

Dear K-amps,

I am but a beginner, so my opinion may not have any professional weight to it, but your Pictures are very beautiful, the Aurora lights above the Hotel, that whole scenery is magical, also the waterfall from behind it. I find it difficult to find such beautiful spots without other People hopping around in my Pictures - do you take your Pictures at odd times of the day/night, or just simply wait Long? It Looks like you have a plan of what you would like to do. Would be greatful if you could share some of your thoughts.

Best regards, Isbjörn

Always nice, your images.

But this one has me worried, it appears the lass has an awful skin infection on her right mammary.

Just kidding
