K-1+old lens

Old lens works well together with K-1.

K-1+Tokyo Kogaku RE, Auto-Topcor 5.8cm 1:1.4 M42 mount adapted

I am not much good at composites... this is an attempt to add a boat to my fall colors image that needed a focal point. (Creds for the boat, goes to Paulo at Photographytalk)

Focus stacking, I think this is what I was on about the other day when I noticed that the KP natively supports a shooting mode not seen the K-1, it's called Av Bracketing, I made a post about it here and here (because I think it could have its potential and see no reason why the K-1 couldn't also receive it).

Lovely nature shot. Reminds me of the type of calendar photograph one would see from the 1950's.

No not for the moment, because I never use a tripod for my macros...

And great captures, especially the first one (IMHO). In my neighborhood there are very few places to get a view toward the distant horizon for a sunset shot such as those. Fine, fine work.

Thanks! It was such a good sunset in every direction that I really had to concentrate to make good compositions instead of just snapping away. I think I did some of each.
