Hi Timur,
I didn't know the Zenit 212K. The Leica R8/R9 looks like very much to it in terms of design...

Google translation is your friend...
Hmm, Leica looks very nice! This zenit model is a 90s attempt to be "modern" design wise I believe. It's has a full plastic build though, which isn't ideal, but it had the awesome Helios 44k-4 attached to it as a kit, which was a pleasant find when i rediscovered it in my storage

When the light is constantly changing as the morning fog & clouds burn off, it's like a whole different subject or location to shoot every 2 minutes.

I took a lot of photo's, and changed lenses several times since I had my big sling bag loaded for bear. It almost made hauling a 15lb packed bag up the trail worth it.

Ever patient and still smiling and putting up with my photography... we will be married 31 years this spring, and she still looks like a kid to me.

See, no UWA 20mm this time, I'm learning (except for that whole F11 thing, heh)

I haven't had that, whatever it is, but it "looks" like Tapioca-Flan concoction of some sort? I bet it's awesome!
Cool food photo.
Eric
Thanks, yes it‘s some kind of Tapioka pearls with coconut cream and Palm sugar syrup.

Thank you savoche !

Eric, on the second shot I prefer the foreground not the background. Are you competing with LeRolls ?

Thanks Frederic! I don't think she'd go for the "baby got back" kinda outfit's the pro models seem to go for these days, so I think LeRolls is quite safe.
She had me at hello... I didn't stand a chance, I was thunderstruck, in the truest old form of that expression!

I really like the new flower shots lately with your 90mm, and that night shot of the cathedral? is really neat with the FA35.

gaweidert, couple fantastic shots, what was the location?
Eric, love the clouds in the first shot. Very attractive kid "wife" photo.
Frederic, superb shot of the Far Away Cathedrale, the super black sky sure sets it off.
Best Regards, Bob

I've been concentrating on acquiring three road superbikes and almost forgotten about Photography. Has the TTL off-camera thing been solved? Today was free museum day and I refrained from using flash.

I don't think my 12 week old kitten likes my K-1. He was fine with my Nikon D5, and Leica S2...he must be a gear snob.

Thank you. These shots were made from a pullout on the road leading to the top of Mammoth Hot Springs in Yellowstone. The road in the second shot is the road that goes through the northern part of Yellowstone and is open all year. It is the only way into a few small towns in Montana. If you look closely at the second shot you will see a small brown streak in the center. The resolution of the K1 is such that you can zoom in on it and see that it is a golden eagle.

The shot below was taken the year before and is from a small pullout just the other side of the bridge. This is a shot of Mammoth Hot Springs itself. To the lower right of the springs you can see some cars for scale. The pullout is out of the photo and at the top of the springs to your left.
