Eric, I favor the second shot, glad to see you did not use that Irix thing...
Best Regards, Bob
Thanks Bob! Don't worry, more of those Irix thingies will be coming soon.

We had yet another bushfire near our home yesterday, thankfully these choppers and the rest of the efforts of the NSW RFS got things under control pretty quickly. Here's a series of these choppers in action as they collect water from the local lagoon to dump on the fire;

I didn't have much time as I then had to rush to pick the kids up from school, as I was shooting I suddenly realised I had a ND filter or two on my person, so I slapped them on to try and get a more favourable aperture and slow the shutter down to get the motion of the blades. The last shot with the FA50mm shows the blades still as I didn't have enough time to swap the ND filter off.

Your flowers with the FA35 are great today, as were they with the DA55mm, as were they with the Tamron 90mm, etc. You just do good work.

That really is confidence inspiring for equipment junkies who always ***think "if I just had XXXX lens like so and so". Sure, some older lenses were pure Coke bottle bottoms, but today? Nah, most lenses are pretty darn good, so many times it's just talent like yours that make them shine. Nice job!

(***That didn't stop me from recently picking up an Irix 15 and a Soligor 20 though... LOL! )
Thank you Eric ! I reddened reading your post
Lucky your are with your new lenses

Frederic, awesome buildings in Bicycle Town & Small Bus, which also appears to be a bicycle town.

Yesterday I went to the Judo club training camp during this vacation week to take a few shots of Justine and for the club in general. Here are a few with the FA 35/2 and in B&W ... the light indoors was not good at all and further complicated by a cloudy and rainy day outside.

This young girl really took the boy out several times ... she's quite good.

I dunno why, I get on these kicks, this is more of leaves under water... guess I liked the way the colors get more vivid under the water like the odd blue one which would look gray dry.
Beats me, I'm probably just nuts.
