Couple of street shots from Galway. Colors were a bit distracting so I went for monochrome. I think that the FA 77 is amazing for street photography.

Hah! Thanks Frederic, that's actually called a "White Powder Puff" flower There is also a pink variety, which shockingly is called "Pink Powder Puff".

The real fun part of that shot is when you realize those flowers were just loaded with bee's, and since you own an Irix, you know how close I had to get for those pictures. Fortunately, we had a symbiosis, they left me alone and I left them alone (that was always my Dad's advice with bee's. Turns out he was right! Show no fear or aggression and it's all good)

I did another set, a few days later with the Soligor 20mm... and the comparison is surprising!!! These will be posted here soon too...

Out-of-character for an UWA, but it certainly works.

Local Flooding

3 days of rain, 10+ inches of melting snow, and a rising river has lead to these conditions. Thankfully, while the flooding is close, its several blocks in either direction of where I am, so no flood damage for me.

Both taken with an MC Zenitar 16/2.8 lens.
