Here is the "nearly a limited" macro in full resolution:

I do not complain.
Thanks for posting this large image file. The detail in the leaves on the distant trees is outstanding! This lens/camera combo's sharpness certainly rivals results I've seen from Nikon D810s and Sigma Foveon cameras!

Aye but more than a handful of cars on the road at any one time like we have here, would only confuse matters.

Boo! Oh well, that just means you'll have to be disappointed by the high ISO performance instead

There's a few fine examples so far popping up around the forum of this.

P.S. Green lights still on.

I draw the line at taking photos with Sony gear. It's been a hideous experience.
Does that mean I can put my Justin timberlake cd's away?

No... without discipline in the world where would we all be...

Perhaps a tad happier per chance.

Probably about two of three pages of forum posts, without a picture in sight

I have been taking photos today, mainly using the K18, FA28, FA31, FA43, DFA100, and DA*300. They will be arriving once my pint has emptied itself

I briefly played around with some high-iso + pixel shift, but I can't say that I found the results an improvement over high iso on it's own. Low ISO + pixel shift does seem to improve the base ISO performance, but from my very-limited testing, combining 4 very noisy images together doesn't seem to translate into a lower noise output (caveat: I didn't have a tripod, I just laid the camera on a table with a 2sec delay. I can't say whether a very solid tripod would help here, compared to my terrible technique). I'll have a slightly longer play about tomorrow and see if I can get you some sample shots. To be honest though, I'm not too much of a tripod user, so I'm probably the wrong person to comment on this aspect of the camera.
Do you have motion correction on? I wonder if the random noise of high ISO translates to "movement" and isn't being included in motion corrected pixel shift.

My apologies to all for talking too much, I'll sit quietly and figure this K1 out.

Yup. Ok. Don't care about high ISO right now, but have just nailed a low ISO pixel shift shot. It works. Make sure shake reduction is turned off....
