A small and a non-professional test on high Iso. To almost identical pictures , both with K-1 and FA 77 mm f.1.8
Pictures taken at f.1.8 and f.11 , 1100 iso and 36000 iso.
Pictures edited as I would normally do, beside that I didn't use any noise reduction.
Very impressive result at ISO 36000, did I get that number correct?

What did you mean when you said you didn't use any noise reduction?

Yep, that FA 50/1.4 seems to work.

(minor white balance tweak in LR, otherwise straight from the camera)

I used LR and edited it for my personal taste for a picture. But didn't apply any noise reduction in LR. Actually I used sharpening and clarity, which increases visible noise.

The lack of any kind of chroma noise whatsoever in the ISO 36000 shot leads me to believe that LR must have been on its noise reduction default -- which means color noise reduction set to 25. Feel free to tell me I'm wrong!

Still a great result with lots of detail though.

@noelpolar: I really like your Lenshood and the hand-sling-thing (sorry don't know the english word). Would you tell me where you got them? Will lens caps still fit with lens hood on? thanks, mate!

My favorite shot with the K-1 after the first week.
The K-1 is an absolutely awesome tool. Even better than my beloved K-5. The viewfinder is simply breathtaking.
