A couple more with the FA100 macro, This lens is incredible, If the AF was faster I would rate it as the best all round lens bar none.

What's the AF like on the DFA version, anyone?

This one is straight out of the camera, no PP, not even cropping:

Virtually no PP:

Very minor PP:

Oh, and they're all hand-held (thanks K-1)

I have found the auto focus on the DFA 100 WR to be really reasonable on the K-1 compared to previous generation cameras. I just wish it would have a focus limiter.

Slowish, but accurate. It's hampered a bit by not having a focus limiter, which means it has a tendency to hunt. That said, in the macro role, I never use autofocus anyway, but it is a superb portrait lens, too.

I like the picture myself, it has a certain random pattern to it, despite the ramifications of living there... people chose to live at the base of dormant volcano's, on hurricane prone shorelines, flood prone riverbanks, tornado prone plains, and even move back in after multiple disasters. People are funny that way. Gotta live somewhere...

Like this?***Warning Not a K-1 Photo*** It's a nice aerial shot... and the fault line is scary.... but I think the K-1 shot posted has nicer colors.

The FA does have a focus limiter but it's not too useful for macro.

I have a DF-A 100 Macro 2.8 here and the WR Version in the mail (the other will be sold then, that I have at least one WR lens haha, I had to be quick since these lenses are somehow really rare here around)

The focus limiter is used to control the range of focus so that you can focus more quickly on either distant, or near subjects. The WR variant of the D-FA 100 does not have the limiter for some reason or another.

If was choosing which one to buy again I would have gone for WR over Focus Limiter.
I wouldn't miss it.
