So many lenses...so many choices.....I laugh out loud when I hear those hollering that there is no lens selection for Pentax!
More often than not if you track down those posters they own a kit 18-55 and are complaining that they might have to go with another brand......no lenses for Pentax!
Micro.....I like primes but consider them so limited. I am a zoom shooter. Versatile and not your daddy's old zoom. Modern zooms are near prime quality and the Tamron 70-200 2.8 is one of those that will make you believe it. When you go through the zoom range and look at all the different primes you get, all at 2.8, and the price of that lens (so cheap!) it just makes sense to me.
Some call it "Big Brain Thinking". I don't necessarily have a big brain....but I have some guidance that does!
Also, zooming with your feet is not always practical or even possible. Or if you are lazy...or worse, if you are lazy and have two broken feet too!
