Rupert, you are terrible! I'm torn between FA 31mm and Tamron 70-200, and did not win the lottery yet.
So many lenses...so many choices.....I laugh out loud when I hear those hollering that there is no lens selection for Pentax! More often than not if you track down those posters they own a kit 18-55 and are complaining that they might have to go with another brand......no lenses for Pentax!

Micro.....I like primes but consider them so limited. I am a zoom shooter. Versatile and not your daddy's old zoom. Modern zooms are near prime quality and the Tamron 70-200 2.8 is one of those that will make you believe it. When you go through the zoom range and look at all the different primes you get, all at 2.8, and the price of that lens (so cheap!) it just makes sense to me.
Some call it "Big Brain Thinking". I don't necessarily have a big brain....but I have some guidance that does!

Also, zooming with your feet is not always practical or even possible. Or if you are lazy...or worse, if you are lazy and have two broken feet too!

Best Regards!

Sunset yesterday evening, shot with Sigma 10-20 @12mm FF mode.

Awesome shot Kengoh!
After looking at your picture I was tempted to order the K1 immediately. The fact that K1 is in backorder saved my impulse.

I am keen in seeing good number of shots at high ISO's like 5000 to 12800 in low light. If any one of you can post them on the forum it will be a good input for me to order K1 or not.

Great shot. You really needed MLU and IR remote in mid day sun ?
MLU and IR are my normal set-up on a tripod.
