Doh...i just skipped over the shutter speed. I apologize for the sloppy reading.

I have a toddler, so i am constantly at 1/125 or faster and have to settle for astronomical ISOs

Typical fine FS shots. Too bad you cooked that little yellow birdie before you could get some FF shots of him.

Here is the first FF shot I have printed.....5X7...looks great. My daughter-in-law and my son's little Pig.

Shot with my new Tamron 70-200 2.8...great lens!

Considering it was shot in a dark room, no flash, wide open at 2.8-70mm 1/125 handheld at ISO 6400...it isn't half bad!

If you can't love the K1 you have a real problem....a disorder of some type that needs immediate treatment!

Janice & The Pig

Regards!

Thanks 59...it is not anywhere near the capability of the K1 or that lens, but under the conditions I was happy to get it.

A closer shot of the Pig....I call her Piggy.

1/200 ISO 800 f5.6 @ 70mm shot FF - Tamron 70-200 2.8

Great camera, great lens......yep, I'm a happy shooter!

Best Regards!

A shot that I know I could not have got from the K-3! The ability to double the useful ISO range allows shutter speeds that are normally beyond the useful range of the K-3, and with focus tracking as well, it provides for shots like this one that were out of reach before.

Flaps, undercarriage, speed, trim. Checklist complete. Ready to land.

Little Corella, Ipswich, Queensland, Australia. K-1 with Sigma 500 f4.5 APO DG EX
