Trying out a new lens I got on friday. Pentax k 20mm f4.0 Image taken at f8.0 iso 800 and had some minor adjustments in LR
Im happy with the result. The Blue and green colour from this lens realy pops.

I was out the other day practicing what a friend of mine called "ball and chain" photography. His theory was that there is always several good, if not great, photograph to be taken within 15 feet (5 meters) of wherever you are. You just need to sit down, look around and let the shots come to you.

He called it this because he volunteered to teach photography to wayward youths at a reform school. The kids liked the name. Each student was given a camera and a roll of film and assigned a position. He noted that after the first few snapshots, the images would always get more and more interesting as the students struggled to fill the roll.

Well I hadn't thought about this in decades so I decided to give it a go. This one of the results. Maybe not a great shot but I think it's a good.one.

With the Tamron LD DI SP 70-200/2.8 Macro. A really good zoom in PK mount. Really glad with it!
