Found this interesting to frame with 4:3 ratio. Using one of the built in black and white filter of the K1.

New to the K1, having jumped directly from a (much used and beloved) K20
What the K1 can do is turn back the FA 20-35 to a very fine and light UWA

Its high ISO capabilities and great SR made it great fun to use hand held in this dark gorge

The 43 becomes a wide enough landscape lens

The 77 gets as wide as the 50 was on aps-c - so now I have a gem of a lens for one of my favorite FOVs

Its insane ISO and great SR make the A*300 so EASY to use (it was a challenge on the K20 at times!). Also with the big, bright viewfinder and the much more precise AF confirmation, I don't need the split screen any more

DR is also almost limitless

and the Astrotracer is just so easy to use. Thi is my 1st attempt at stars

Also the resolution jumps from "hey, look how well it resolves these details" to "what? that micro cobweb was NOT there, i assure you!!"

This is with the dfa 50 macro, PSR on

...and this is an enlargement of above (and yes I can really assure you, that cobweb was not to be seen with the naked eye! )

That is one scarce lens, possibly more difficult to find in K mount than the highly praised Voigtlander 125mm macro.,

Much more cooperative than squirrels.....

"Turn a little to your left for me please...."...Unlike a squirrel that wants some reward for helping, she did!

Yep, another Crop Mode shot...is there any other kind? Try it...you'll like it!

Regards!
