Love them all FS! Of course #3 is the favorite......though he does need a hair trim on his ears....still, he is very handsome! Thanks for the numbers.....it sure helps my confusion in my demented state.....I feel pretty alert and sharp in my mind and all, but Mrs Rupert keeps reminding me I am not.

Nothing like taking a break on a hot Summer day......could be on break there for hours?

Crop Mode Bigma 50-500

He found himself a more private place to relax in a natural "hammock"......at least that is what I hope he was doing in his private place?

Regards....Guess you still haven't seen that guy with my Soligor lens?

Yes, love the red hair, and other colours in the shot. She wouldn't have worn the red hair on her most important day if she didn't like it.

Hi fs999. I have been looking through this thread with interest and envy as most of my lenses are FF compatible I look for images taken with the lenses I have to see how they perform on the K1. I have the DA*200 and have noticed that most of your images are in crop mode except for the one above which I really like by the way. I notice that there is some vignetting is that why you use crop mode or is it for the extra reach.

Lovely, FS! So far I've been giving priority to my full frame lenses, but I'm going to have to try the crop mode.

A few shots with taken in the (comparative) cool of the evening. Still getting the hang of the K-1.

Damn! People who never owned a dog just don't grasp the concept that dogs truly are "man's best friend". I'm sorry you are going through this. Bailey indeed looks like a sweetheart.

To keep the post photography related, it looks like your white balance is off a bit. Has a yellowish tint, or at least to me it does.

Rightly or wrongly, I chose that WB and DOF to reflect the eye squinting nauseous sorta state that it felt like.

Weidly I've pondered taking any shots of the situation...... given over time one feels better looking back at photos from better times.... however the K-1 and K50/1.2 doesn't feel that obtrusive to take the odd snap with at this time.

I've put it down to the K-1 feeling like an "old soul" camera.

Thank you ! I use crop mode mostly (like Rupert) only when the subject is too narrow or needs more definition I use FF mode. This lens don't have vignetting, not more than FA*200...

About appropriate versus inappropriate times and situations to take photographs - I remember a photographer who recorded his father's dying days. The old man lived out in the woods and had developed some level of dementia, but eventually just decided to die and simply stopped eating. In some pictures you can see the stands for studio lighting set up around the old man's little cottage in the woods. The images garnered both praise and criticism, sometimes from the same reviewer.
