A comparison of Pentax K28 F2 and Zeiss 28 F2.. Both with same setting..
K28

Zeiss 28

Was thinking to try to compare the edges, but i felt both perform quite similar.. (Full size is uploaded in Flickr.)

I know you didn't ask, but I like the results of the Pentax better than the Zeiss. They are very close. I just like the colors and range of that old, ancient K lens better. Has a bit more "pop" to it.

There are some additional red streaks over the water and one small one close to the bridge on the K. Are these just due to some additional spot lights are different moments?

Love those FS!In particular the little love birdies.......too bad those are in Crop Mode where none of the "FF elites" here will view them. The last one was in FF....superb....maybe they will view it?
Thanks again for the numbering.....it keeps me from getting all confused!

Just a little fun JV....like old times over in the K5IIs thread. Not many fun lovers here in this thread, they are all deadly serious FF Pros and have little interest in anything other than "dragging and dropping" their "terrific masterpieces".
...but, glad you got a smile, some of us do need a little fun and a smile once in a while!

If life is all about dragging and dropping a photo in a thread someplace, it can't be much of a life...can it?

Best Regards!

Sunset walk the other evening - All from the D-FA 15-30, except for the fourth (DFA 24-70mm). Handheld (I am the laziest and wouldn't take the tripod out!).

Both performed great and I am slowly getting used to the size and weight!

Edit: those asking for the location, these are taken at Salford Quays in Greater Manchester, UK. Really a great place for a few pics in the evening! I'll share some more of this location

By the way - Thanks to Adam for agreeing with my proposal for a lens club for DFA 15-30, I hope to see you all there too!

John
