Really quite breathtaking. Some friends just came back from SA with some nice shots, but not with that length of lens.

Don't forget FS! Remember I am old, can't see or hear well, can't think, and forget where I am most of the time...and have those two broken feet too.

Love the little birdies best .......they stole the show!

Regards!

i have been at Yellowstone the past three days. Plenty of cliche shots. Even more photos if you just look around a bit. Runoff from one of the thermal pools.

Another shot from Yellowstone. To me this photograph shows the true potential of the K1. You can enlarge and study this image and it constantly shows you something new. Notice the bug in the center.

Right in the center it looks like a squirrel face looking up???......could it be one of them finally got what they deserved?

These are better than my raccoon shots from last night......in the late afternoon we got some decent light that hit them just right!

Handheld Bigma 1/125 @ 500mm f 7.1 ISO 1600 Crop Mode...Long live the Crop Mode!

Barely got this one before he took off!

A few out-takes from today's 2016 ACA Open Canoe Slalom Nationals & North American Championships.

Used my K1 and my Pentax 60-250mm lens. I took the original baffle out myself and handcrafted my own baffle that obviously does not vignette on the K1.

Took the K-1 out for some more astrophotography last night. From Dinosaur Valley State Park outside of Fort Worth, TX.

Next weekend I'm going to Big Bend, the darkest skies in the US, for 2 nights. To say 'I'm thrilled' is an understatement. Between sunsets, shooting all through the night, and sunrises, I guess I'll sleep during the days.
