Two babies and a mama, like the pied woodpeckers. She was intrigued by the noise the pied woodpeckers did there. Normally they don't approach the house so narrow...

Thanks FS! Hardly an expert, but I did do better last night with the better settings. If it hadn't been 90F with 85% humidity I could have stayed out there a long time and would have been able to get a ton of shots.......but I was a sissy in that atmosphere and headed back in to the cool AC in five minutes.

I have been curious about the XS and K-1. Is this image cropped or FF? Sure looks good to me.

It's shot on FF mode. Unfortunately, the IQ is affected as I was behind very thick glass when taking this shot.

And yes, I think it's acceptable and reasonably good. Just try not to shift the composition (on sensor) too much.

That's a very pleasing, understated scenic.
Are you using the earlier version of the 10~20mm with removable hood, or the later version with permanently attached hood? I suspected the first version of the 10~20mm with removable hood might require less cropping when used on a K1 in FF mode.

I once owned the Sigma 10-20 and could never do much with it. If I could have used it as well as you did in that wonderful shot...I'd still own it!
