"Will I pose this morning for a case of cold beer on this hot humid day?"

"Damn Right I will!"

"Give me time to get situated!"

"How about a damn handsome profile shot?"

"OK...One tiny smile and that's it!"

"That's it...we're done here...give me that case of beer or all hell will break out for old Rupert!"

If you aren't having fun with your K1...what's the point?

Regards!

Nice set as always Frederick, but noticed #2, projector lens? Hmmm... interesting... so, no aperture, just shoot wide open? Used a T-mount or something?

Otis sends his thanks FS! All the credit goes to his good looks! We should all be so handsome!

Te winner is #2 FS...such a gorgeous shot! #1 is a fine shot, as is my personal favorite #4...but #4 is only my favorite because that upsets the damn squirrels!

Good to see you have not succumbed to the peer pressure of those "real photographers" that pooh-pooh the Crop Mode! Long live the Crop Mode!

Best Regards!

I always wondered why they are called a mini gun.

Thank you Erick ! No it's a plastic helicoidal lens. Directly applied against the K-1

You are getting off on a good start with the Bigma Fred! Aren' t those young male Cardinals ugly! Yet when they get all their feathers and color they are majestic!

Nice bloom too! Gotta love the Bigma bokeh! I look forward to seeing you here often...and if you get any squirrels be sure and let us see them!

Regards!...Your fellow Bigma shooter.

Finally getting out a bit with the K1. Here's a black-eyed Susan, or related GDYC, that's pretty much gone by.

Clackers, I like it! It is reminiscent of one of my first digital shots with my new DS over 10 years ago........My how times have changed! The K1 is light years ahead of the DS....and Mrs Rupert is not quite as smooth skinned as in 2006! The DS is long gone, but Mrs Rupert is still here...and I am glad for it....she bought me the K1!

Regards!

Lipstick Lady from 2006 - I loved my Pentax even way back then!....Mrs Rupert too, of course!
Lovely photos of lovely subjects!
